We're not from Pinehurst but my family and I were at this show. I just wrote a long review about it and lost it. Basically, Vince sounded awesome, as did Jenny. He was very well received by the crowd. For the first event of this kind to be held in the "arboretum" ( a big field with a huge, portable stage at one end), the staff did a good job. If anyone's interested in the set list, I can post it later. I guess one of the funnier moments of the night was when Vince introduced Jenny as Jenny Van Valkenburg - not sure about the spelling on that. He said when Jenny and Josh have their first baby, they're going to name it Vinny so they can call it "Vinny Van Valkenburg." BTW, he was not making an announcement there.....just making a funny.

Yes, we too, visited Pinehurst for this....talk about out in the middle of nowhere!!! It's a beautiful area, but secluded for sure!!! Thought the concert was great, as usual!! LOVED his new song, "Red Words" He is such an entertainer, musician, jokester & great all around person all rolled up into one!!! I have cherished every time I've been able to see him in person!

Yes, we know the area well now because we rode around for quite a while trying to figure out the layout of the place. It's quite a little golf mecca out in the country, isn't it? Did we luck out with the weather or what!! We were eating at 4:30 not far from the event, and it rained so hard for a long time - what we Southerners call a gullywasher! Couldn't believe the sun was shining when we got to the "arboretum". We didn't need any of the rain gear we packed after all!
