Some of you may watch Paula Deen's show "Paula's Best Dishes." This morning was a new show which was taped earlier this year. Carol Fay from the Loveless Cafe in Nashville was a guest. She passed away earlier this year, I believe, or maybe late last year........she was only 48 years old. She and Paula were very good together on this show. Paula asked her about the stars who come in the cafe, and Carol said Vince and Josh Turner were her favorites. If you missed the show, it airs again here on Mondays at 6pm, I think. Check the Food Network if you're interested in seeing it. I thoroughly enjoyed it but really made me said to know that Carol Fay is no longer at Loveless. I'm sure the staff there miss her tremendously. She started working there in her teenage years. If you've never been to the Loveless Cafe, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the info on that sandy. I love Paula Deen but they don't air her much on the food network here in Canada. I have a few of her cookbooks and love trying out her recipes. We met Carol a few years ago while at the Loveless and she was just such a sweet lady. It was so sad to hear about her passing but so nice to see how they have really paid tribute to her at the Loveless when we were there in June.
I will be looking out for that show to air here...I am sure it is a great one.
