It's been lousy around here lately. Let's just say some absolutely horrible things have been happening in my community and it is not getting better. People are stressed and in fear, including me.

I think that figured into it. My husband is trying to make everything all better. While he can't fix the things that are happening around us, he did what he could.

He got me the Strat, the one of Vince's up for auction.

It's supposed to be for Christmas, but considering what's going on, he told me now. He actually got a smile out of me.

That is so so awesome!!!!! It is such a cool guitar, but what makes it so special is Vince actually played it!!! Glad it now belongs to someone in the fan club!!! Congrats, and I hope things get better

Boy is that Strat nice! So is my husband. Our younger son is thrilled that we are getting it too. We will find a nice place to hang it in our home. I am not sure how many guitars we have at this point, but this one will be kind of a special one. Not to say that our other guitars aren't special, in their own ways, but this one will be a stand out kind of a special. It's not every guitar that has been owned, loved and played by a musical genius.

I'm glad we got the strat. I wish I could share it with all of you here. .
