Hi everyone!

Bruce & I had the pleasure of seeing Vince in Birmingham last night at Songs for Sight, a benefit for low vision and the Eye Foundation Hospital. Vince did about an hour set. Songs included Adrianna, This Old Guitar & Me, Whenever You Come Around, new songs If I Die & Threaten Me With Heaven, When I Call Your Name, Sight For Sore Eyes (I had never heard this one live & he did this one just for this occasion), and closed the show with Go Rest High. He talked more about his eye sight problems than I have ever heard before. I wasn't aware that he had had 2 surgeries to correct vision as an infant. These surgeries corrected the cross eye situation, but as he put it, his left eye 'wanders'. He cracked a few 'eye' jokes and told stories pertaining to his 'wandering eye'. Unfortunately, pictures were not allowed at the event. I'm hoping there will be a review online soon or at the very least there will be photos available at the organization's website.

Sounds like a great show.......love the ones that are somewhat unique, esp. those that benefit such worthwhile charities. We've never heard him mention his eye problems either.
Thanks for sharing.

You're very welcome...it's been kind of 'dry year' last year for us as far as concerts were concerned. So not much to share. We're hoping this year will be better, tho.

Just LOVE his stories and sense of humor!
