Vince invited his fans to the Country Music Hall of Fame for his fan club party during this year's CMA Music Fest. Fans from around the world showed up for food, conversation and amazing music hosted by the man himself. Vince welcomed them into the Ford Theater in a very impromptu style setting. "I came not knowing what I was going to do, that is the way I like to do it, just see what happens." Fans asked questions that lead to stories that lead to music. Vince detailed every song with stories of how it was written to what instruments he used. The sit a spell, laid back gathering lasted for hours with fans getting to know their favorite musician better that most would ever get a chance to. After it was over Vince stayed and met each fan individually for photos and autographs. They also took home autographed, custom-made Hatch Show Prints made especially for the party. Vince let the fans listen to all of his upcoming album, which will be released this Fall. It will be an evening that no one will ever forget.

That was such a blast! Vince was so laid back and comfortable, and made us all feel the same way! He just gets better and better! Can't wait for October for his new music! What an honor for us for him to WANT us to hear his latest project. I hope he knows how much that was appreciated! What a guy!!!!!!!!!!

I just know his new album will be a success and if the radio won't play his songs they are missing out on what country music is about. I loved the way he was relaxed and how he told about each song. October won't get here soon enough. Hope we see him again this time next year.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the party. It was a very special afternoon. Love the new CD!! I'm too old to wish the days away until October when it's released......but it will be great to get it!

That was a really special day. I feel really really honored that Vince shared his new CD with us in the way that he did. It makes me feel like we are all really a part of the creative process of his music, and that is truly a gift he gave to us.

It was also a good way for my sis and I to spend our Mom's birthday. Mom has been gone almost 3 years now, and going to Vince's party made this birthday not a sad event in time. I kept envisioning Mom there with us, cracking up at Vince's jokes, all excited to be there. This was the second time I got to hear Threaten Me With Heaven, and the second time it brought me to tears. There was Mom again....
