I went to the concert last night. It was awesome. Vince sang for almost three hours. He started a 7:30 p.m. and didn't quit until around 10:25 pm. He sang a mixture of songs, sang two news songs from his upcoming CD, and talked more than I have ever seen him talk and joke at a concert.

I took my mom who will be 80 this month because she had never been to a Vince concert before and she really enjoyed herself. We only live about an hour away from Morgantown so it was great having him that close.

I had a meet and greet after the concert so that made the night even more special. I took him a gift . I asked him if he still liked golf and he said "Do I" I told him to share the gift with the others on the bus and he said Okaaaay and just grinned. I got him a globe like thing that is on a little stand and it has a golf ball and a tee inside the globe. You try and shake the globe around to get the golf ball on the T. It is kind of hard to do but I am sure that Vince can master it.

It was a great night and my mom is so glad she went with me.

Some of the jokes and stories I had heard before but he told alot of new things and he just seemed like he wanted to talk and laugh. He was in a very good mood.

Someone ask him at the meet and greet about doing a DVD and I couldn't hear all of it but I did hear him say something about doing a DVD at the Ryman I think, but he said they had lost a lot of the material in the flood that hit Nashville so I don't know if he is still planning on anything or not because I was in the back of the line when he was talking about this but did hear him mention losing things in the flood.


That's about it and for anyone going to a concert soon I am sure you are in for a wonderful night as I just had last night. Deb

Krissie, I got my Meet 'n Greets thanks to my boss (and great friend) along with our friends at our local country radio station in Redding. They all are greatly familiar with my Vince Gill fan-dom, and for my recent 30th anniversary at the bank where I work, they conspired without my knowledge to get me not only 2 Meet N Greets for the Oct. 19th show... but 2 FRONT ROW CENTER SEATS!!! As you can imagine, I about died when they surprised me with all this and I absolutely cannot wait!!!

Hilary...that is TOTALLY awesome Congrats!! How exciting!!! Well, I am happy to report my meet and greet request along with my husbands came through today so I will be getting a meet and greet in redding too....AND we are probably very close seat neighbors because my seats are front row center as well!!!! I can't wait either!! Counting down the days...it is gonna be awesome!! See ya there!! And congrats again
