Full Version: Vince making a dvd from some of his shows
The Nineteenth Hole > The Nineteenth Hole > The Main Room
TechnicolourDreams
I read somewhere that Vince was considering filming some of his shows for a dvd. Maybe if we post our feelings the positive feedback might get back to the big fella and persuade him to do just that.

I woud *love* to have a DVD of this tour, especially since I'm not going to be able attend any of the shows!

HEY !!!! I would love to have a DVD of his shows like Valerie i can't be at his shows. that would be awesome.
love ya, Shirl.

I'm sure we would all agree that we would love to have a dvd of this concert. I do hope that Vince considers releasing a dvd...this tour will be different than anything that I've ever seen him do before...it would be a shame not to have it preserved on video. Not only for the people that can't attend any of the concerts, but for all of those that do...it would be a wonderful momento to keep of this amazing tour!!!

I was thinking that everybody who has a meet & greet with Vince should mention this to him. Maybe if enough fans request it, it will happen.

Great idea, Joan!!! Don't know if we are getting any m&g's, but if we do, we'll be sure to mention it to Vince. But he'll probably say something like, 'but aren't you guys tired of seeing me lately???'...LOL!!! Of course, we know the answer to that, don't we???....the answer is....NOPE!!!

I'll certainly put in my request if I am fortunate to get to talk to him .

I think he was so worn out with me in June he just might remember ohmy.gif Every time I held my hand he had a look like, "Oh,no not you again" . laugh.gif I would say,"Could I ask just one more question and he'd grimace and smile and say, I suppose " He always smiled though . My mind was just racing and I wanted to have everyone get a chance to ask but I didn't want to forget what I wanted to ask either. OMG, It was one of the greatest times I have ever had cool.gif AND no we never get tired of Vince

Yes I'm not going to be able to see any of these shows either, so a dvd would be wonderful.

Nice idea Joan, but could be too late.
Becky
Hope not, Linda. Since it appears that the idea has been posed to Vince already, hopefully, he has given the 'go ahead' for some of the concerts to be taped, but he may not have decided whether he wants it to be released as a dvd yet...maybe someone that sees him in the first few concerts can ask him and see what he says...

He sure is playing some wonderful place's. biggrin.gif

I actually think I heard Vince mention this in one of his tv or radio interviews. I think even he realizes that the magnitude of songs and musicians onstage during this tour will never be duplicated and now is the best time to make a live dvd.

I also have noticed that Vince mentions his fans a LOT in his interviews and I think anyone who gets to talk to him on the tour should tell him how much a live dvd would mean to us....LOL.

I can do that ,Maggie laugh.gif In fact I have a list written for him. I'm totally serious. Cause when I get there I'll forget some of the stuff I want to ask . rolleyes.gif
Becky
Ok Anna..add to your list, 'Give Vince a hug for all of us'...that won't be hard to remember will it??? Oh, and please tell him how much we all love the boxed set!!! We've all got 'happy ears'!!!
