Hey guys.....in People magazine the country special they mention Vince's Opry anniversary on page 23.....however they say he celebrated 13 years instead of 20!!!! I was sad it was reported wrong and think it deserves to be corrected!! So I wrote to the editor at editor@people.com so if u have the magazine or just wanna write to the editor maybe we can let them know we care!!! I know another fan already wrote in too!! I know it's just a mistake, but it would be nice if they fixed it out of respect for Vince!

Some articles don't get the Grammy's and CMA'S correct either

. It happens but it annoys me every time .

The worst thing ever written showing lack of work ethic is when in a review of a Vince gig at the Disney Hall the reviewer called Billy Thomas while playing a cajon "some guy on a box". Can you imagine that? You get to the peak of your career, you have played drums/sung with Ricky Nelson, McBride & the Ride, Emmylou Harris & then you're playing with about the most highly respected & awarded Country singer of our time & some idiot refers to you as "some guy on a box"?

Oh BROTHER!!!! That reviewer is like a lot of the 'big wigs' in country music....they're clueless!! I was once reading some article or a book on country music, and in the mid 1990s, when John Berry was pretty popular, the head of Capitol Records heard a Patsy Cline song and he said to his assistant something like "I want her to do a duet with John Berry. Find her number and call her." He had no clue that that she had died in a plane crash in the 1960s!!!!!!
