First off, in the morning I usually turn the radio to the Adam Coralla morning show but this morning when I got in the radio was still on a local country radio station in Seattle, KMPS 94.1

The host guy was saying something about the greatest song so I decided to listen and find out what he thought was the greatest. Lo and behold he said from Vince Gill's new CD and he played Got to take this Country back. I was very excited to hear that. He said he was going to be previewing more of the cd later that morning, but I didn't get to hear because I had to leave the car in the park and ride and take the bus and I didn't have my walkman radio.

So, at least here that station is liking the album. Kind of surprises me because the 10 months that I've lived up here I hadn't heard much Vince on the radio. Heard a lot more when I was in Missouri,

I've seen a couple of other members on here posting from this area, I think someone was in North Bend. I am in Everett and work in Seattle.

Anyways, any thoughful insights from your own local radio DJs on this GREAT GREAT music.

P.S. Maggie if you read this, I also think that Jack Bauer could get off the Lost island in 24 hours, and save the president at the same time.

Well, my radio station was going on and on again this morning about this album. Played These Days and spoke of how this album reaches across many genres and if you simply love good music you should get this album.

I only get to listen for a short time in the morning so I don't know if they are playing more that one song. Although if they played one a day it would take 6 weeks to get through.

What a thought!

Hi there!

I'm the one in North Bend. I have to honestly say that I don't listen to country radio. I listen to 103.7 KMTT which is an Adult Alternative station. I love all kinds of music but I can't stomach country radio. I feel terrible saying that but I can't help it.

Who all in the WA area got the meet and greets for the Seattle show? I was not one of them unfortunately. Wah...

Sorry you didn't get a M&G . I am pleased that at least one of the stations here is playing The Reason Why. I share your pain,as a whole,on country radio.

I'm in Mill Creek and I hadn't heard any from KMPS yet but I don't listen to them that much - what about the new WOLF station on 100.7 - are they picking it up too? biggrin.gif I have requested they play The Reason Why but haven't heard it yet.

I got a M&G and was very pleasantly surprised - first time for me and I've been in his fan club since 1989. laugh.gif
