I enjoyed the Glen Campbell Tribute on the CMA's.

So did I. I did think it was strange that they brought Glen up onstage, handed him his guitar and then didn't let him sing. They could have let him sing at least a verse of Rhinestone Cowboy.

My husband and I were at the awards show and thought it was strange too that Glen didn't perform. We think maybe it was a timing thing. Glen was sittling in front of Vince and Amy in the audience and the two of them really seemed to enjoy talking to each other

Tribute was ok ,loved Vinces singing, but why did he not have a guitar? Shouldn't play (excuse the pun) second fiddle to anybody. True his voice is the best by far of the three. And I have stated before on this website Brad and Keith are favorites also but they all should have played something. I don't think they wanted Glen to play or sing just in case he messed up but he looked like he was very aware. Glad they did something for one of the guys who got me into country music.

I noticed that too, but I think Terry had the right idea - I think the timing was too tight.
