Hi VG fans-did anybody watch vince gill on the opry last weekend oct 14th-06? I sure did.I love every minute of it.what do you all think of the gac commercials with vince gill little jimmy dickson -tater? that's one of my faves commercials of vince.Vince was awesome so was all the country singers he had with him to sing jenny did a awesome job singing with her dad.what a month for vince yeah and the vg fans.thanks vince for a awesomes cds you did for us fans.hope you read this . yours the best we all love yours music.you take care carrie ann

Yeah Carrie...Bruce, Maegan and I went to the Opry on Saturday night!!! Great show and the energy of the crowd was definitely high on Saturday night!!! Bruce managed to find 1 seat on the 5th row, right smack in the center of the stage for the late show, so I had a great seat for the late show!!!

Have seen it 2 times Carrie. The BEST.

Just wanted to add that in the late show, Vince brought up an elderly gentleman from the front row to dance with the Opry Square Dancers. And as usual, Vince danced a jig on the stage with the man and the dancers too!!! This is about the 3rd time I've seen Vince hop in there with square dancers...it is such a sight to see!!! Also, during the 2nd show, when Vince came out to help Patty sing 'If My Heart Had Windows', he and Patty danced around during the instrumental time. Guess Vince was in a dancing mood during the late show Saturday night!!!

[b] Carrie Ann, I just though that Vince was awesome and all of his music saw the opry 4 times, and every where vince was on the TV, loved every minuted of it, the late show sounded great, and i love that too where tater comes out to Vince. did you gals see Bill cody interview Vince Gill, just awesome. did any body see the top 10 video's with Lance. it was on late last night.
we have had a lot of Vince.his new video is suppose to air next wk.how about that.??? its good to be back on the board.

I was lucky enough to be able to see Vince's Opry show twice and... well, all I can say is ... W O W !!! It is so exciting these days for us die-hard fans. To hear all this original music written by Vince is indescribable... and to hear him perform some of the songs "live" on the Opry before being able to hear the music on the new 4-CD box set was unbelievable. Now that I can hear the songs on my CD player and remember him performing them live on the Opry, just makes me appreciate his talent even more (if that was even possible) I don't know of any artist who can perform so well "live". His band and back-up singers... all of them are so talented, the music is so tight and his musicianship is unbelievably true. To hear him live is to hear his recordings... not too many artists can live up to that! ~~ especially with all the wizardry in the studios these days.

I watched it twice too! Great show!!! I am ready to see him in concert!!

I saw it too. I taped it so I can watch it again, and Again. I wish I could have been there and seen him dancing.

There was an Opry marathon on last night. Very good but I just couldn't stay awake. Did catch Vince singing Give Me Jesus. Come on Vinny get that song on a record. Even a single. Maybe .............Someday .

Anna, I asked Vince sometime ago if he would record 'Give Me Jesus' sometime. He said he felt like he would eventually. I'll be patient...it's not like he hasn't given us a bunch of new music lately...LOL!!!

Hey,!!! I watch it last night till i could stay awake any longerbut its on Gac now Vince honored Charles RAY, Vince sang Messin Around,
now they have George Jones 75th birthday, sure have enjoyed our Vince this wk end, and still isn't over.

[b] VGFS 1yr ago today my dream came true when i recieved meet and greet tickets to meet Vince Gill, I just couldn't believe it, but he was just awesome and a sweet heart to meet, I still get up on cloud 9 yet when i think i was so thrilled to get tomeetmy guy that i had been his fan for so many years. thank you vgfs who ever gave me the chance to see & hug him.
