I've been trying to find a job since May, when I was terminated from my old job, and almost every single thing I see in the newspaper says "experience necessary." Well, I've always wondered HOW do you get experience if nobody will hire people who don't have experience?! Even something like taking care of animals they want people experienced in veternary!! I've even put in applications at the hospital here in town that requires no experience but all I get back are rejection emails! I know there have been people looking for jobs longer than I am, but it's frustrating when you see a position and then you're not qualified for it because you don't have the experience. And in order to collect unemployment, you need to apply for jobs, but it's hard finding jobs I'm qualified for because I don't have the experience they want in a certain area. And I don't want to go back to call center...I couldn't do it where I was because I've been having a lot of voice problems, and I couldn't hit the "marks" that they wanted you to hit anyways, so I know if I go somewhere like that again, it's not going to work.
