It was a very touching event. Vince's daughter Jenny and her husband sat in the front row next to Amy. Also in the crowd were Vince's buddy Belmont basketball coach Rick Byrd and his wife, Vince's long time managers Larry Fitzgerald and Mark Hartley, Chris Botti, Bobby Colomby (Blood Sweat & Tears) and many longtime friends of Vince. Many of the Nashville folks who came made the trip out JUST for the sole purpose of supporting Vince. Vince was his usual smooth self as he thanked all of the right people and proved to be the proud father as he had some nice things to say about Jenny. It was also cool to see the famous Hollywood daily trade paper "Variety" had a very nice huge 5 1/2 page spread on Vince including many thank you's.
