I probably have a few too many CD's in my collection. Let's just put it this way, I have 80 plus CD's that are autographed by the artist.
I am not able to travel around as much as I would like to (due to my age and a shortage of funds)but I have attended many concerts (locally where I lived at the time). I enjoy many different genres of music country being my favorite and of course Vince is my favorite in that mode. I probably don't have all of the records he has recorded with different artists but have to admit that I have bought records of artists I probably would not have bought if Vince had not been on them. I have 15 or 16 of Vince's and I need to get 4 more signed . I told him I hoped I lived long enough to have him sign them all and he said he hoped he lived long enough to sign them for me (and called me sweetie,I am 73 and I loved it) Speaking of different genres several years ago my friend and I went to a George Benson concert (4 hrs) and 2 weeks later I was at an Alan Jackson concert. I go way back to an out door venue in Indiana .Mockingbird Hill ,Earnest Tubb,Loretta Lynn,(*big one for me Marty Robbins ,Conway,Hank Jr.when he was but a child .Glen Campbell 8 shows of him.Met him have a picture and signed book.Elvis 4 times including his last show in Indianapolis .The Gatlins,John Mellencamp,Travis Trent ,Marty Stuart,Kathy Mattea,GeorgeStrait ,Tony Bennett ,Jack Jones ,Sir Paul,Josh Groban, Dolly Parton ,Merle Haggard ,Waylon and Jesse ,"Donny Osmond ,it's a 3 generation thing"and who could ever forget Neil Diamond and more than I can remember at this early hour of the morning .
I appreciate all the links and info you post Reggie.Thank you .
