Hi VG fans I was wonder what's yours faves vg cds box sets you like the best of? what's yours faves vg cds you like from his box set? mine is the reasons why and the songs of some things never get old. my faves songs are the reasons why these days almost home out of my mind how about you all? what do you think of vg box sets? just wonder you take care carrie ann

It's hard to choose! I guess all I can say right now is my favorite song so far is Cold Gray Light of Gone but there are other songs that come VERY close to being my faves too & I might change my mind soon. It's so hard to choose!

So far I love the Groovy record and the Rockin' record. So, so, so great!

The Country & Western Record - I love traditional country and Vince does it so well! (I love the other records as well, but this one is my favorite)

Depends on my mood! I love all 4 CD's....
(I am partial to the C&W and Acoustic CDs though - just a bit).

However my favorite song is: Some Things Never Grow Old.

I love the whole set. Each song has something for me. There are some from each cd I enjoy ,maybe a bit more but as a whole I can't be pinned down for a favorite from Vince's collection. I just love anything he does and I've never heard a bad thing..............so guess I really don't have a fav. Kinda like Charlie,maybe it depends on the mood. I do know one I really am crazy over is Faint Of Heart.

Now my fav CD in the set is The Country&Western Record.
But my fav song is on CD one. It's "Son Of A Ramblin' Man"
But I also love the other CDs and songs.

I have to agree with ANNA, I love Vince so much that he just can't sing a bad song; I have played them all and each one , i would say, i really like this one and then when i heard them they just all sounds awesome to me.

I think Vince would find it funny that we all have trouble picking a favorite song from this boxed set...LOL!!! I have multiple favorites on every record...however, overall, 'What You Give Away' is going to always be a favorite to me. When I first heard this song at the Opry on 10/14, I started to cry and Maegan looked at me and asked me what was wrong. At 11yo, she doesn't always get the meaning of alot of songs..at least not right away, anyhow. But I thought to myself as I was hearing this song...these lyrics are so true, so moving and sound so much like what Vince has been doing all these years. It just reinforces the fact that whatever it is, you can't take it with you..

Becky...I agree with you 110%!! I love "What You Give Away"....now I need to try to live those words!! When he sang it on the Opry I taped it and kept playin' it over and over! Then he sang it at the Worcester concert as the last song..I was in my glory. That song is an anthem for how we should live our lives!! It is the perfect song!! I love all the new songs, but this one really touches my heart and soul.
