Apparently this is a rumor going around the Nashville Music Industry:

Music Row Musical Chairs?
Landscape Changing In Nashville?
ALL ACCESS is hearing big rumblings about some major changes reportedly to take place soon on MUSIC ROW. We're hearing that UNIVERSAL SOUTH/NASHVILLE Co-President TIM DUBOIS is about to exit. Look for him to start his own venture very soon.

So, what does this mean for UNI-SOUTH's other Co-President, TONY BROWN? Rumors are flying that he's about to land at another major NASHVILLE label, with another big name coming in to run UNIVERSAL SOUTH. Sounds like musical executive chairs, but we'll follow this one closely and keep you posted as it unfolds.

Sounds like Tony is starting another label along with Universal South. Since he and Tim started Universal South together, I can't see them both leaving it.

Whatever those 2 do will be good. So good Tony recovered from that awful fall he had .

Thanks for the info, Val...I surely hadn't heard anything about that. Whatever happens, I hope that country music is better for it. I personally think it's a good thing that some of these artists are forming their own labels and making their own decisions about the music they want to make. But I wish Tony and Tim all the luck in the world !!!
