Hi everyone,
My name is Georgia, and I live in Oklahoma City. I am proud to be a Vince Gill fan, have been for years .Even back in the old days when he played with Mountain Smoke.Although he is a few years younger than me, we graduated from the same high school, Northwest Classen HS, here in OKC.
I love the new cd's that just came out. They show many sides of Vince. I just wish they could have added Oklahoma Rising, our centennial song.If you get a chance to listen to it,please do. It's really good too.

Welcome Georgia, You know that Oklahoma Rising is a fantastic song.I hope sometime he will perform it at a concert.I might request it next week.I love it. He and Jimmy Webb out did themselves with that song. His These Days box set is just "another one out of the park" . I am very much a Vince fan and I can never critize anything he does. I think he is as close to perfection as any human being can ever be. The thing with Vince is he is real . All the other things are just icing on the cake. We get a real plus when we attend his concerts. cool.gif

I wish they would add Oklahoma Rising to his myspace page. I love the song and with this being Oklahoma's 100th birthday year, i think it would be very fitting to add it and I'd sure put it on my page.
