David and I were out doing a little shopping today and he was saying something to me and I said SHHHHH. He said what is the matter, I said listen Vince is singing a Christmas carol on the intercom system. He tried to listen and that's when they interrupted with some kind of advertisment and I wanted to scream, Stop it, put Vince back on. He finally came back on and David listened for a while and said well now I can tell it is Vince but how to you know so soon. I just smiled to myself and thought you guys on the board would know how we do it. We've all done it. I can hear the first note or two of a song and know it's Vince. Vince Radar....

Yep, Deb...it's the well-tuned ears we have!!! I do that from time to time in restaurants, etc...might be Vince, Amy or a few other artists songs. It's always nice to hear those 'so familiar' songs being playing in public places!!! I guess it's about time to be pulling the Christmas music out!!! Bruce & I did a ratethemusic survey on country Christmas songs today...Vince was on it singing 'The Most Wonderful Time of The Year'...best song of the bunch, of course!!!

Vince radar is genetically passed down as well! lol My 11 yr old daughter heard Vince on the B&D song Building Bridges the first time she heard it. She jumped up and down and said mommy Vince is singing on this song. My other children can hear the first few notes of a song before the vocals have started and know it's Vince! I've trained them right.

I've actually heard Vince a couple of times on the local country station - I wrote them a nasty email and then heard his music the next day. They act like they are responsible for any good acts coming to Seattle and then they ignore the music the rest of the time.
