On Amazon website it no longer says "Ships in 3 to 6 weeks" it now says:
Availability: Usually ships within 4 to 8 days. Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.

Finally, it seems like they have more or access to more These days!
(Currently # 11 on Amazon sales rank and #12 on Barnes & Noble site).

Nevermind - went back to the Amazon site several more times and it again said "3-6 weeks" (Delivery between Dec 8 to Dec 22)...Not sure what to believe anymore.

Amazon might say 3-6 weeks, but if you go to the private sellers, they have them in stock and starting at $23 for 'used, like new.'...$23.57 for New...heck, for 57 cents more, might as well get one that's brand new! For most things I buy thru Amazon, I'll use one of the private sellers...they're cheaper and I've never had a problem, of course I always check the ratings of the sellers, too, and look for one with a good rating and good price.

Amazon has if for $23,88 right now, so you're not really saving mucy by going to the "private sellers". Plus, I don't think it helps in the chart ranking by purchasing from private sellers. I think it says a lot that even with it having to be backordered, it hasn't been out of the top 20 on the "top sellers" at Amazon.

I ordered some other cd's from Amazon and got one more These Days. This is the e-mail I got from them:

Also, I generally buy direct from Amazon as I paid the $79 for the year to get free 2 day delivery on all I buy - Amazon "Prime"... (if I buy from outside sellers - I pay shipping). I generally get what I buy from Amazon 1 to 2 days after I place the order (to my door).

And good news - it again says These Days ships in "4 to 8 DAYS" - I hope it stays that way (or even gets to "in stock - ships in 24 hours" !!

With Amazon, what I'll usually do is check the price at Amazon, check shipping charges, and then check the private sellers. Of course, if it's something over $25 at Amazon, and the private sellers have it about the same price, I'll order from Amazon to save shipping charges...but so far most things I've bought, I've used the private sellers because most of it's cheaper, even with shipping charges.
