I think a push should be made for OVERALL "Album of the Year". This is an amazing collection that should NOT be limited to just the "Country" category.

Agreed!

I agree too!!! I've been wondering just 'where' this boxed set would 'fit' in terms of nominations for awards...it would be nice to see an 'all genre' album category and I think that 'These Days' is a perfect example of the kind of music they would need to see in this category...not a bit biased, am I ??? LOL!!!

I'm pretty sure it's not even eligible for a Grammy nomination this year- though "The Reason Why" could be nominated.

You're right, Mary Anne. We went over to the Grammy website to check. The cutoff date is Sept 30. The boxed set isn't eligible this year but the single would be.

Aren't the Grammy's on the early part of the year ? Maybe it'll squeeze in there . It will be interesting to see what happens with this set. I am sure thinking that he has to get some awards for These Days.
JBC
The Grammys are in February but in order to be nominated an album has to be released by Sept 30.

So These Days still has a year of sales and Vince concerts and promos ?
