WOW! -- thirteen! Any artist would be thrilled with just ONE gold album. And this list doesn't even include all his platinum albums. Thanks for sharing that, Rockinreggie!

IMO Country radio needs to see that list of GOLD. They said The Key was to country and Vince was to happy on LMSWKG.Incredible that the sales numbers doesn't mean anything to the stations.

Anna - I've given up on my local country station. They play Vince's older songs occasionally but just won't play The Reason Why. It doesn't matter how well the album (box set ) is doing. I keep hoping they will play it. I don't know if another uptempo song is released if that will make a difference or not.
I just don't get it. They play AJ, G. Strait, anything Garth, but ignore Vince
I think I WILL call station tomorrow.

Carolyn, I have talked a lot to a couple of the DJ'S here, who really love Vince's music and they rave about These Days but one day I said ,I know about the program director, corporate radio ,record companies, etc. and he said it's not even that . He didn't elaborate on what it was. I would love to know why his last 4 records has not been played .Another thing I really do not understand is Garth (and I love Garth) OMG ,he hasn't toured forever and I do think he has put together another CD and sings with Trisha . Isn't there more of a criteria to getting air play ?????? Guess not

Well, guys our computer crashed and burned about 2 weeks ago and my poor husband has been valiantly trying to save some files but we mostly lost everything and it still isn't all running well. Can't live with them or without them! But wanted to say the Seattle stations pretty much are same as your Arizona stations - they never play his records but they were very prominent at Vince's Seattle concert and they were about half of the people allowed backstage for the brief M&G. It was wonderful to meet Vince but the girl at our local country station didn't get a pix of us with my camera but she said she had one she thinks on her camera but they also had their computer crash and are paying to get pictures restored. So, don't know if we have a pix or not. About air play can it be $$ are involved and some pay more than others to get their artists played. Management teams?

Sorry to hear about your computer, Freida! I've been having computer problems of my own lately...some programs work, others won't, so I'm trying to get things backed up onto my other partitions in order to do a format and restore sometime after Christmas...at least I'm going to try to wait until after Christmas!
