Hi everyone!!!

Just wanted to start a post here about the trip to Vegas. I know we've bounced around the idea of having dinner one night before the show, but I don't think any definite plans have been made...not sure if a dinner meeting will happen, but think it would be nice if we designated a place/time to meet so we can all say 'hey'...

So...if you are interested, speak up!!! It would be a shame for so many of us to be in the same place at the same time and not have a chance to meet!!!

I want to have dinner before the show on the 9th. That's the only time I will be there. I am not picky so will be happy to eat as near to the concert as possible. I am sure there are some place sin the Hilton where we can find something to satisfy everyone. Come on gang get on board the chuck wagon

I think we should meet for dinner before each night. Don't know who else is goiing to be there all three nights other than Becky, Bruce & me. Looking at all the restaurants in the Hilton and I thought maybe the Buffet. The prices seem reasonable and you don't have to make reservations like alot of the other restaurants. If anybody has other suggestions I 'm open to it. I definitely want to meet as many fan club members as possible. I have yet to meet any fan club members in person. The two concerts I went to last year, I was the only fan club member there.

I'm not going to make any promises that I probably will break, so I'm not going to commit to meeting at the buffet. I will only be there on the 7th, since I have to fly back home on the 8th.

I DO WANT TO MEET whoever will be there on the 7th! I can't commit to any "meeting" places since I'm going to have my two sisters and my 76-year-old Mom with me. We are staying at The Fremont and not the Hilton, so I don't even know what time I will be arriving at the Hilton. I will say that I'm going to try to get Mom to her seat early that evening, and we will be in the front row to the left of the stage (left as in facing the stage). I'm very, very short, will be with a red-headed sister, a brunnette sister, and a beautiful 76-year-old LADY. Please come up and say "hi" to me if I don't get to make the dinner. If I can talk the other 3 in my group into it ----- I will do my best to meet for dinner. With me having to corral everyone to get them to the Hilton in plenty of time and explain to the MEN we are leaving behind WHY we are having to leave the Fremont so early ------------ well - get the picture!!!! I'm going to have to try to PLEASE a lot of people that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I certainly want everyone in that venue to know WHO are fan club members! Seems like most of us will be in the front section ---- so all of us should be able to speak to one another before the show.

The buffet sounds like a good plan to me!!! I don't think we have planned anything for dinner on the nights of the concerts...want to be in the hotel somewhere so we are close at concert time...and the buffet should have something that will satisfy everyone...

Cathy, I can understand that you have your plate full with your sisters, your Mother and all the men...!!! Hope you can make it to dinner...and if not, I'm sure we can find you at the concert!!! We'll all be that big section right down front singing, and having a good time!!!

Anyone else that is interested...we can trade cell phone #'s so that we can make sure we get in touch when we arrive...

Am getting SO excited!!! Can't wait to see some of you again and meet some of you for the first time!!!

The buffet sounds like a good idea, just have to pick a time that will allow us time to eat & chat before we need to get seated. Looking forward to seeing FOA friends again and meeting new ones.

Yes, we'll be there on Wednesday...we've got tickets to a Cirque De Soliel show somewhere late on Wednesday night...but we should have some time to kick around a bit after we check in...let me know if you'll be arriving on Wednesday...

I will be coming to Vegas by myself....Unfortunately were on 2 movies right now and my husband has had to cancel....But heyyyyyyyyy I am game.....(no pun intended)....

Charlene, I know that Anna will only be there in Saturday night and she wanted to have dinner with as many as could possibly make it...so, I'm assuming that we will have dinner on Saturday night...just my assumption from the posts so far...so sorry to hear that hubby had to cancel..I know that you had some special plans for this trip that you talked about some time ago...

I have a feeling that Bruce & I will be eating dinner all 3 nights somewhere in the hotel...so that being the case, if anyone wants to get together for dinner the other nights, just call my cell or ring the room...or we could always go somewhere and chat after the concerts...

Will be there Saturday night so if you wanna make plans somewhere before the gig let me know so I can at least stop by & say hello to some of you wonderful people!!!!!!!!

I will be there all three nights. I get there early on Thursday and leave mid-day on Sunday.

Looks like a nice group for these concerts. Becky, I'm game for meeting for eating before all three concerts. It's always nicer to eat with a group.

Joan, I'm pretty sure we are free all 3 nights for dinner...so, it will be fun to meet each night for a bite before the concerts...anyone else that wants to join us, feel free...the more the merrier!!!

The Buffet sounds great!....Something for everyone....I checked out the price....$16.99 + tax.....

Also what do you think about having a general meeting place before we eat?....I called the hotel & asked them where would be a good place for about 10 -15 people to meet before we went to dinner....They said as you walk in the front door to the hotel there is a marbled floor area off to the side that has seating etc.....They said you couldn't miss it...Perhaps we could meet there first in case there are some who won't be able to go to dinner but they would still have the chance to stop by & meet everyone...What do you think about meeting there at 5:30 - 6:30 & then all who plan to go to the Buffet go from there?...Just a suggestion...What do you all think?.......

I'll be there Thursday and Friday nights. I'm bringing a friend who likes country music but has never been to a Vince concert. I can't commit us to the dinners, but would love to say hello to as many fan club members as possible. So if we could work out a place and time to meet one of those nights, I'm all for it.

I'm for whatever the majority wants to do...meeting earlier in the lobby area is fine with me...!!!

I was so excited to hear that Vince is coming to Niagara Falls on January 5th....I sang to Dez..."All I want for Christmas....LOL" Now I just hope he pulls though.

Happy to be home. There really is no place like it .Just got home this P.M. Weather was actually warmer there than here. That happens every year. Most people are schoked but I am so used to it .

As for where we are eating , majority rules .As I said I am not picky when it comes to food. It'll be great to see everyone who will be there on the 9th. Sorry to miss the rest of you.

Wishing you all a safe trip to Vegas. What a wonderful time you will have seeing Vince, and meeting fellow friends and members of the fan club. It's something extra nice when you get to meet others who love Vince as much as you do. I met the other Mary Lou/who this year at my concert, and it was a pleasure.

Leah,My grand daughter has gone to 2 Billboard award shows. Had a blast. That is where she met 2 of the Backstreet Boys. So thrilled.

Might just be some country people hanging at Vince's show too. Sorry we won't be seeing you Leah. Will you be going to the show in Janurary ?

It has been ages since I have posted but I wanted to come out and play with ya'll. Hubby and I will be there for Friday and Saturday shows. I am not sure what time we will be there Friday night but would love to meet up on Saturday. There will be some old faces to see again and some new ones to meet. We are up for anything for Saturday nigh. I am so excited about the conerts and seeing some old friends and meeting some new.

I checked my TV Guide and the Billboard Awards are Monday night. Most of the people from that show will probably be gone by the time we get there later in the week. It will be crazy enough with all the rodeo people there.

Yeah anna...I will be there for sure. I am still amazed and thrilled that Vince will be coming to my neck of the woods twice in one year. I told dez that all I wanted for Christmas were good seats to this show so I am hoping that he pulls through....I am really happy to be able to see Vince on this tour.

I see some of the other country artists besides VINCE performing in town for rodeo week are:Brooks & Dunn, Big & Rich, Little Texas, Dena Carter, Trick Pony, Ricochet, Tanya Tucker, Clay Walker, Randy Travis, Gary Allen, Jack Ingram, Dierks Bentley & Charlie Daniels.

Hope the Vegas weather warms up a bit for this coming week.

Hubby had a heart attack this past Wednesday but, we are hopeful to still be coming if all goes well. The doctors were joking about raffling off our trip & concert tixs to the highest bidder at the hospital but, hubby kept saying the wife isn't parting with those tickets even if I just have to settle for hanging them on the Christmas tree next to Vince's ornament! JK

Oh my goodness TC - I certainly hope things get better soon.

Last June, I had to cancel our Vegas trip due to my husband's appendectomy the day before we were to leave. Thank GOD it wasn't for THIS Vegas trip! I sure hope your husband is feeling up to the trip, and am very glad that he's well enough that that could even be in the plans!

Oh my gosh, Tricia, I'm so, so sorry to hear about your hubbie. That is terrible and so scarey. I just know he is feeling the positive vibes coming from all of us here. I hope you're doing okay too.

And to everybody going to Vegas - I will be thinking of you and wishing I was there!!! This is just killing me. I can't wait to hear how it all goes.
