According to various websites, Hip-O will be releasing a "20th Century Masters - Millennium Collection" for VG on January 9. Does anyone know the tracklisting yet? This should (IMHO) pick up from where "Souvenirs" left off ... VG certainly has had enough hits since then to easily fill another compilation!

Thanks for reading!

Sounds great. Been waiting a long time on that. I agree with starting right after Souvenirs.

Any news? This is scheduled for release in two weeks. Yet, there is still no tracklisting or cover art on any of the music retail sites.

I checked his label site but there wasn't anything about it. Sounds good to me. There are a lot of Vince's songs on other records that sure should go onto a compilation record . I don't mean just the hits he had but some that a lot of people have never heard.

Well, it's 1/9 and the mystery continues. Walmart has this available online for download, but is out of stock for a physical CD version of this. CD Universe has this backordered; Amazon does not even list it! Is this truly released?!?

Tracklisting is:

1. I Still Believe In You
2. One More Last Chance
3. What The Cowgirls Do
4. You Better Think Twice
5. High Lonesome Sound
6. Pretty Little Adriana
7. A Little More Love
8. If You Ever Have Forever In Mind
9. My Kind Of Woman/My Kind Of Man
10. Feels Like Love
11. Next Big Thing

I went to Best Buy today & got ZERO help from the twelve year old looking employee. And they wonder why they're losing business to the internet! They didn't have the Hip O release. But at least they did have two boxed sets. In my opinion in the three years between studio releases they should have come out with a full blown Vince Gill Greatest Hits 2 or/and A Greatest Hits Live or just a Live CD.

Vince doesn't like the idea of a "live" cd because he claims he can hear all the flaws, and that "live" music is meant to be lived in that moment that it's played. I don't know HOW he can hear any flaws---there are none when he plays!!! haha!!

I agree it's time for a "greatest hits 2"!!!!!

This is also available for download at rhapsody.com. (Sorry if we are not allowed to post internet addresses here!) According to countrynation.com, Reba also released a 20th Century Masters on 1/9. But, you can only purchase the CD at Walmart. Perhaps this is the same for Vince?

BTW - this compilation is part of the 20th Century Masters series. But, "Next Big Thing" was released in the 21st Century! laugh.gif

I bought mine today at WalMart.....It was right as you walked in the front door in a display with about 20 other artists having a 20th Century Masters Collection....Maybe WalMart will be the only place carrying these
Deb
I found it!!!, or I should say David found it., lol. We were at Wal-Mart and I showed him someone else's 20th Century Masters Collection and told him to look through some while I looked too. I really didn't think we would find it but in just a few seconds, he said is this it? I was really tickled and it was on sale too, makes it even better. So Wall-Mart does carry it, finding it is the problem, lol.
