Quite awhile ago I went to a Vince Gill concert. He sang a song that had the lyrics "You take me places I have never been before"
Does anyone know where that song comes from? It is not on any of his albums.

Are you sure? If it was a concert from a while ago would he sing "These Days"....I listened to it....not sure which song it is.... I did not hear that line...maybe I missed it.

I listened to These Days and don't think it's that one . I have been searching all over the Internet

The song Girl on #4 cd track 6 of These Days, He does w/Rebecca Lynn Howard. There is a line in that song that says ...........It's the safest place you've ever been. Could that be the one ?

Anna, Maybe that's the one.Vince wrote some of the song's on These Day's over the years . So may maybe that's it.

I have never gone to a Mark Wills concert that I can remember but yes, those are the right lyrics.

Well,SirDave ,I am happy to help. Glad you recognized the song. Maybe you have heard it on the radio. Mark is pretty cool . Not Vince cool but I enjoy his music too. I especially liked It Was 1970 Something.

'Girl' is such a great song!!! I do wish that Vince was singing that one on the current tour. I can't help but think when the song starts that it sounds very much like an AKUS song...what do you all think???
