I realize media base charts track the single - hourly (or 24/7)...However,
now the latest singles from Brooks & Dunn along with the Clay Walker single have passed Vince and his single "lost" spins....
I know I'm preaching to the choir here but it just (wait I cannot say that word).....upsets me that after all the positive press, going platinum, earning a grammy nomination that "Country" radio - overall - does not embrace this single.
It's been out now for 20 weeks and has hovered at about #30 for months (Currently at #31). It's kind of like when Johnny Cash could not get on the radio, then won a ton of grammies for his "American Recordings" CDs and well gave "Nashville" "the bird" in one of the trade papers after he won all the awards....I know Vince won't do that (but sometimes I feel like doing it!)
It does not seem like there is anything that will wake up country radio and at least give Vince a bit more airtime...SAD! jmho
