My gosh do underwood fans and Adkins fans vote all the time? That many of them?

They cheat Charlie. The polls do not matter one iota and mean nothing . I still vote for Vince but as I have said before,if he even knew about them and had to win by his fans cheating he wouldn't want to win .My opinion .

I Agree Anna.I vote but I think the fans of the other artists cheat!! Come on lol some that win the polls and beat out Vince are no where near as good as Vince so the polls don't give an honest picture at all.Vince will be around long after these artists burn themselves out and fade out.I like some of them but I can see the road they are on and it goes down hill..hugs Mamabear

Trace Adkins is really not even a singer. He talks through alot of his material. But it was cool that a friend of mine was the pretty brunette in his "Rough & Ready" video.

Not sure how they could cheat - only allowed to vote once a day (unless they somehow find a way around that)... I would think their websites directs then to the link too. I realize Underwood has sold nearly 5 million CDs and is very popular - I guess Trace is pretty popular "These Days" ( Had to throw that in! ) too.

But there must be a lot of them voting a lot - so who knows.... I poll like that is not "scientific" or "accurate" it only tabulates those that choose to vote and does not care how often etc (so it's noy like a "gallup" type poll... so that said it's not a "bad" reflection on Vince or prove anything other than some fans like to vote a lot!

Seems Trace always gets a super high percentage of votes on all those pollls. So they must vote multiple times and often! I have been voting regulary but it did take the "wind out my sails" a bit to see how many votes those other 2 had. jmho Charlie

Also as I think about it...a lot of the voters on the GAC website are (on average) younger country radio listeners that like to listen to today's "hot" "new" country radio and those stars (ie Carrie Underwood "idol" etc...very popular #1 song at the moment & Trace rise in popularity since that "bodonk" song)...so the votes are a reflection who is "hot" today on radio and not based on the actual "Opry performance"...I would imagine many who vote never watch the opry, have no idea who Little Jimmy Dickens is (other than that small guy in the Paisley videos! ), never saw any of the performances and the Opry is not high on their personal "to watch" list....unless a Carrie Underwood is on etc....

So more a present day popularity contest...

Believe me, Charlie, you can find ways around that once a day voting business...when we first saw this poll about a week ago, Carrie & Trace were already so far ahead that I'm sure that their fans have been voting multiple times already...you're right..it's just a popularity contest...Carrie and Trace are very popular right now...
