FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Punt, Pass & Pick Concert & Fundraiser is proud to welcome Franklin High School’s own, Jenny Gill, and her dad, Grammy Award winning artist, Vince Gill. Father and daughter will kick off the Franklin High School Quarterback Club’s first concert event on Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Franklin Theatre in true hometown style.
Proceeds from the concert and silent auction will benefit the Franklin High
School football program. The event starts at 7 p.m with an “in the round”
session from great music row songwriters, Lee Miller, Rhett Akins, Chris
Janson and Danny Orton.
Jenny Gill graduated from Franklin High in 2000 and her father, Vince Gill, is
a former Rebel dad who has participated in countless events raising millions
of dollars in support of our local community, the greater Nashville area
and across the globe. The FHS Quarterback Club is a private organization
of parents whose purpose is to support the Rebel Football program, team,
players and coaches.
“We are honored to have Jenny and Vince for our fundraiser,” said Battle
Page, president of the Franklin Quarterback Club. “Not only is Jenny Gill a
Franklin High alum, she also is an outstanding and celebrated artist, writer
and vocalist. Her father has been incredibly generous with his time as a
musical ambassador throughout his legendary career.”
