As previously announced, Vince is once again leading an all-star lineup of performers at the February 26 All for the Hall concert in New York City, which benefits the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The evening will feature performances by Vince, Emmylou Harris, Jason Aldean, Pat Monahan of the band Train, and some very special guests. In a true Nashville-style guitar pull, the unique evening will feature each singer taking turns sharing and swapping songs and stories.

The Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau is partnering with
Durango for a charity auction to benefit Music City Inc. Foundation. Music legends Little Richard, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and more have autographed or customized a pair of Durango boots.

The Durango boots will go live for bids on eBay beginning on April 19th at 7 p.m. PST and run through April 29th. Bids for the boots can be made by going to http://is.gd/visitmusiccity.

Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Emmylou Harris Among Performers

Vince Gill, Bruce Hornsby, Ronnie Dunn, Emmylou Harris, Martina McBride, Charlie Daniels and K.T. Oslin provided the entertainment as more than 400 glitterati from the music, business and medical sectors packed a banquet hall at Nashville’s Hutton Hotel Monday evening (March 26) for the T. J. Martell Foundation’s honors gala.

In addition to the banquet, the event included a cocktail party, a silent and a regular auction and the presentation of awards to songwriter Kris Kristofferson, former RCA and Sony Music Nashville chief Joe Galante, surgeon C. Wright Pinson and businessmen Colin V. Reed and Tom Cigarran.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was established in 1975 to fund research to find cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.

Gill hosted the affair with his usual display of wit, irreverence and affability.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Maybe you’re wondering what Vince Gill is up to today?

Well, we can talk about one item on the country star’s schedule with authority.

During a morning phone interview, Gill said he’d be spending some time with Birmingham native Emmylou Harris.

She and Rodney Crowell are recording an album of duets; Gill will make a guest appearance on the record, singing harmonies.

“I’m going to work with her today,” Gill said. “I met her and Rodney when I was 19. I don’t have two better friends in the world.”
